the Amazing Adventures of Jimmy Crikey

Join Jimmy Crikey on a quest that will take you beneath the ground you walk upon, into subterranean worlds, and even beyond the stars above your head. Jimmy is an orphaned alien who made his home on Earth after his Ambassador parents, who came from a distant star world, were overcome by Earth's diseases. 

The baby was left in the care of a surrogate ‘Aunt’Ethel but as he grew up he was ridiculed by the neighbourhood children because he looked different. As a result, Jimmy ran away to escape the bullies and in his midnight flight, he stumbled and fell into the magical underground world of Roombelow 

Courageous Jimmy rescued the town from the curse of a sleeping spell and was ‘adopted’ by Mr McDonald, the Mayor. Witch Matilda and Gemma, the little lady who lives at the bottom of the well, but doesn’t know how she got there, become Jimmy’s best friends. Witch Matilda is head of the four witch guardians of Earth’s realms.

Jimmy possesses no magic but he has a big heart full of fearless bravery and when Roombelow is in danger of flooding, Jimmy locates the sleeping Weather Wizard, Lord Oron, and turns off the torrent of rain. 

When the well in Roombelow dries up. Jimmy and Gemma team up to find the cause and return a giant eel to its home in the sea.

Once settled in his new home, Jimmy returns to visit Aunt Ethel, who explains that he is an orphan from the star world of Attalia. He could return to Atalia in the hidden starship, but he chooses to stay with his new family of friends in Roombelow. 

Now the hero of Roombelow, Jimmy battles in the snow-covered mountains with Erg, the chief troll. He ends up in a cliff-side world and discovers the Diamonites living in Lithnia, who look very much like Gemma. He takes Gemma to meet her family in Lithnia but the Traders kidnap her. it needs the assistance of one of Earth's Guardian Witches, Ira, before Jimmy sets sail on a rescue mission. 

After the rescue, Jimmy decides to visit his birthplace – the star world of Attalia. The hidden starship automatically heads homeward but is attacked and destroyed by enemy forces on the way. The Attalian Rescuers pluck Jimmy to safety, and Commander Zaru befriends him. On Attalia, Jimmy discovers he has no living relatives, and President Alpha invites him to stay as his guest.

Kursh, the enemy of Attalia, attacks, and there follows a war waged with missiles, lasers and force fields. The Attalian forces succeed in thwarting the onslaught. To end the centuries-old war Jimmy plans the destruction of the time warp, to close the portal between Ock and Attalia. Once continued peace is assured, Jimmy returns to his family of friends in Roombelow, where he is the honoured guest of Mayor McDonald. Now a hero with four witch friends, a mighty Weather Wizard, and Gemma the little lady from Lithnia. Jimmy has found his forever home.
